Meet Our Founder
"I couldn't change my mother's diagnosis, but I can create a community where no one faces theirs alone."Â
My name is Tabitha Walker, and I am the founder of Breast Friends, a community created to support, encourage and uplift those impacted by breast cancer.

Inspired by the life and journey of my mother, Reneé Williams, what started as a desire to honor her legacy became a mission to create a safe space where survivors, fighters, caregivers and families can find hope, connection and support.

Through Breast Friends, I am committed to raising awareness, fostering community and ensuring that no one faces breast cancer alone. My passion for serving others is rooted in faith, compassion and the belief that even in life's most difficult seasons, strength can be found through community.
Breast Friends:
How we started...
1 in 8 chance a woman will develop breast cancer in their lifetime.
My mother was the one.
In honor of the life and legacy of Reneé Williams, Breast Friends was founded in 2025 with a simple but powerful purpose: to ensure that no one faces breast cancer alone.

What began as a daughter's desire to honor her mother has grown into a mission of providing encouragement, resources, education and support to individuals and families impacted by breast cancer.

Through every event, every conversation, and every act of service, Breast Friends continues to carry forward Reneé's legacy offering hope, building community and walking alongside those navigating the breast cancer journey.
